In April, alongside several partners, we co-sponsored a screening of No Other Land raising $14,000 for the people of Masafer Yatta in the occupied West Bank. We welcomed Rami Khader to Atlanta in June and hosted a series of events in collaboration with Healing to Hope. Next we co-sponsored a national speaking tour with FOSNA in early July to bring Rev. Naomi Tutu and Iyad Bernat to Decatur. The event recording can be viewed here. In September we were lucky to host Rev. Dr. Mitri Raheb in Atlanta with our partners, Bright Stars of Bethlehem. Our major public event, Theology After Gaza, featured Rev. Dr. Raheb alongside Dr. Atalia Omer, Dr. K. Christine Pae, and Dr. Adam Vander Tuig.
